It is sad commentary on the state of our society

that we are clearly bereft of leaders of the caliber necessary to govern this country effectively.

Every generation thinks it has worse problems than all the generations before it. In this case I'm beginning to think it's the absolute truth. Can it possibly be that hard to find two upstanding citizens with concrete ideas and the strength of will to carry out programs acceptable to the majority of the citizenry for the purpose of running against each other for President?

We neither want nor need "sound-bite" leadership. Tell us what you have in mind, in detail, and give us credit for being able to understand it in full -- and if we don't like it, listen when we tell you.
