What drastic food price increase?

Insty makes a good point. Sally and I share the grocery shopping duties and I agree, I don't see where prices have gone up all that much.

I can add only this to what Glenn says: If you're bitching about the price of eggs, you need to remember that dairy products are subsidized by the government AND have artificial price controls set to keep them from being too cheap. Otherwise eggs would probably be a nickel apiece, and milk a dollar a gallon (if that much).

Just like sugar. And beef. And God knows what else.

It all comes out of our pockets, folks. And Obama and Hillary want more of the same.
