I'm not really a fan of the Let It Out column in the local fishwrap, as it's generally a good place for morons to leave their uninformed scratchings, but I happened to glance at it today and found a twofor.
Why is it the only food I can find in the food pantry is outdated?
Because it's donated? Duh? The date on it is the SELL BY date, not the THROW ME AWAY BY date.
There are times when I would like to be invisible like the meter readers from IPL and Vectren. In the 4-1/2 years I've lived in this house, I've yet to see either one.
I can't speak for Vectren, as we're Citizens Gas customers, but IPL uses remote-reading meters that send their information by radio to a local node that's probably on a power pole somewhere in your neighborhood. They haven't had meter readers for years. Oh, and by the way -- that saves you money on your electric bill. ID10T.

...thereby demonstrating that the smart people stopped reading the Star long ago.
(Or at least never comment in "Let It Out.")
(All the intelligent ones are over at Channel 6's "The Rant".)

A friend of mine who used to work for Channel 6 often characterized them as "We Ruin TV".
But that was long ago and the wench is dead.
